Abednego Pierre
November 17, 2015-June 21, 2016
On Thursday June 16 Abednego and I went to the US Embassy and applied for the second time for his visa. This time I had a letter from a US Congressman and another Congressman called the embassy in Haiti on our behalf. Again we were denied.
On Tuesday June 21 Jesus took Abednego home to be with Him. Romans 5:3-5 says:
We also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character, and character, hope. And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out His love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom He has given us.
God gave me 7 months to love and care for this most precious baby and I thank Him for that. Abednego has changed my life and drawn me closer to Christ.
